Fazerdaze, the dream-pop project of New Zealand's Amelia Murray, broke through with her 2017 debut album Morningside and its viral single "Lucky Girl," then returned in 2024 with Soft Power, winning Best Solo Artist at the Aotearoa Music Awards. She turns bedroom recordings into something that fills arenas, which is a harder trick than it sounds.
